NWPPR Consultation Results

Stage 3: Online Consultation - Consultation on Draft Policies, November 08 - March 09

In order to seek out early views on the initial officer thoughts on draft pitch provision for Gypsy and Travellers and Travelling Showpeople, 4NW agreed to test a targeted, closed consultation in late 2008. The consultation group included community stakeholders and statutory sector consultees working in the policy area.

Following feedback from this engagement, the pitch provision figures for Gypsies & Travellers and Travelling Showpeople were revised and incorporated into Interim Draft Policies agreed for public consultation by the Regional Leaders Forum in January 2009. These were then subject to public consultation between January and March 2009.
